We recently gathered our 8@8 team and writers together virtually for time and space to be with God, to cultivate quieted and expectant hearts, so that we might become more aware of God’s presence and love.

Rev. Dr. Steve Macchia, the director of Leadership Transformations, led us through a contemplative time of reflection on God’s word and what it means to listen to God through the scriptures, so that our prayers become words shaped by his presence and the gift of his word. We also had several 8@8 team members share about the history and future aim of our work in cultivating a daily habit of scripture-centered prayer.
